Tiny Hanson symbol tattoo located on her ???
I wanted to get a Hanson tattoo for the longest time. It's a permanant dedication to the band I love. I just got the simple Hanson symbol with a circle around it. I got it from the sticker that came on the Underneath CD. I went to Schofield, Wisconsin at "Tattoos By Hoss" on May 11, 2004 at noon. Both before and after I was excited. I first went to that tattoo place and tried to see how small they could do it. Both the places I went to (Blackwater Tattoo and Tattoos By Hoss) both said that they couldn't do it any smaller than and inch and a quarter in diameter. I didn't want it that big for where I wanted it on my body so I was a little depressed. About two weeks after that I went back to Tattoos By Hoss and talked to the other artist there, Brad, and he said he could do it the size I wanted. I was exstatic! I actually set the appointment on Hanson Day for the 11th. I went back in on the 11th and got it done. Hoss and Brad (both the artists) picked on me a little bit, but it was no big deal (please, as a Hanson fan, I've gotten used to the teasing) I took a picture of it with my phone camera and sent it to my friend and they were like "What? Are you in a Hanson cult?" lol yeah...it was fun.
So far, the only people I've really had a chance to show or tell about my tattoo is family and other Hanson fans. My family thought I was crazy for doing it ("what if you don't like them in the future?") and fellow Hanson fans thought it was awesome. I did show people I work with too, most of them think it's cool. One guy kinda rolled his eyes lol. My brother tried to make me embarrassed about it, but I just told him that if I was embarrassed about it, I shouldn't have gotten it done.
So, yeah, that was my experience. It was a good (and slightly painful) time. I heart my tattoo!
