Year in Review 2007
January 15: Hanson announced the tracklisting of the Walk, as well as its release dates in many countries. The Podcast, "Taking The Walk", was launched on iTunes. Three new websites: Taking The Walk.com, Strong Enough to Break MySpace, and Taking the Walk MySpace, were also launched.
January 24: Hanson appeared on the game show Deal or No Deal as a surprise to contestant Jackie Monroe. Also, a preview of The Walk was posted at Hanson.net, with clips of "Great Divide", "Go", and "Running Man".
February 19: Hanson screened the documentary Strong Enough to Break at the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) National Convention in Nashville, TN.
February 21: The Walk is released in Japan.
March 1: Hanson performed the songs of The Walk for the first time at the preview concert at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, New Jersey.
March 2: Hanson were featured on Sirius Radio, on Celebrity Shuffle. They performed a second preview concert at Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut.
March 4: Hanson performed another preview concert at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
March 6: Hanson performed "An Evening with Hanson" at the Supper Club in New York City. They were joined on stage by Harlem's Young Love Choir, members of the band Jonny Lives! and Andrew WK. Here is another review of the show. They also met the winners of the Bid2BeatAIDS auction for LIFEBeat and presented them with an autographed Les Paul guitar.
March 7: Hanson screened the documentary "Strong Enough to Break" and answered students' questions at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
March 9: Hanson arrived in Tokyo, Japan, to promote The Walk.
March 10: Hanson screened the documentary "Strong Enough to Break" at Marunouchi Picaddilly 2 in Tokyo, Japan. They were also on Tokyo FM "Pops Best 10" and had a photo shoot.
March 11: Hanson were still in Japan. They were on the radio show "Hola Domingo!" @ J-WAVE with Mibu Minami.
March 12: Hanson appeared on the Japanese TV shows U-La-La and Best Hit USA. They also had two radio interviews; an interview with Snoopy on FM Yokohama, and an appearance on "LIVE-J" on JFN.
March 13: Hanson appeared on the Japanese TV show Waratte Iitomo, and were on EnterMax on Tokyo FM. They left Japan.
March 14-17: Zac and Taylor Hanson attended SXSW in Austin, Texas.
March 15: Zac and Taylor were on the SXSW panel, Artists Speak Up, at the Austin Convention Center.
March 16: Zac and Taylor were still at SXSW. Taylor participated in a SXSW panel called What Do You Want From Life?"
March 17: Zac and Taylor jammed with members of Everyone Else at the Beauty Bar in Austin, Texas.
March 30: The documentary "Strong Enough to Break" was presented at AFI Dallas International Film Festival. Taylor, Zac, Ashley Greyson, and John Russell attended the screening and answered questions.
March 31: The documentary "Strong Enough to Break" was shown at the AFI Dallas International Film Festival. Ashley Greyson attended the screening and had a Q&A session afterwards.
April 3: Isaac and Nikki Hanson welcomed a son, Clarke Everett Hanson.
April 13: Hanson played The Village in Dublin, Ireland.
April 15: Hanson had a brief interview and performed "Go" on the BBC television show "Heaven and Earth with Gloria Hunniford". They played The Academy in Glasgow, Scotland.
April 16: The single "Go" was released in the UK. An acoustic version of "Go" was released on iTunes UK. Hanson did a signing at HMV in Glasgow, Scotland.
April 17: Hanson played The Journal Tyne Theatre Newcastle in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
April 18: Hanson played The Carling Academy in Birmingham, UK.
April 20: Hanson appeared on the UK TV show Loose Women.
April 21: Hanson played The Apollo in Manchester, UK.
April 22: Hanson played KoKo in London.
April 27: Hanson appeared on Xpose! in Ireland.
April 30: The Walk is released in the U.K.
May 5: Middle of Nowhere Acoustic was recorded live in Tulsa during a Hanson.net members event.
May 14: Hanson were interviewed on the Howard Stern show on Sirius radio. They played two cover songs; "Never Been to Spain" (originally by Three Dog Night) and "Long Train Runnin'" (originally by The Doobie Brothers).Later, they appeared on Your World With Neil Cavuto on Fox News. Still later, Taylor stopped by the studio of East Village Radio and appeared on DJ Elhaam's show Guilty Pleasure.
May 15: Taylor and Zac attended the Entertainment Weekly/Vavoom 2007 Upfront Party in New York City.
May 24: Taylor had a brief telephone interview with Hamish and Andy on 101.9 the Fox radio station in Australia.
June 22: Hanson performed live on Jonesy's Jukebox, on Indie 103.1 FM in Los Angeles. They were featured in People Weekly Magazine.
June 29: Hanson performed a "secret" show under the alias The Sacred Fools at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles.
July 15: Hanson performed the national anthem at the USG Sheetrock 400, NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Race, at Chicagoland Speedway.
July 20: Hanson performed at Lupo's in Providence, Rhode Island.
July 21: Hanson performed at the Avalon Ballroom in Boston.
July 24: Hanson appeared on the Morning Show with Mike and Juliet on Fox News. The Walk is released in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Hanson had a signing at the Virgin Megastore.
July 25: Hanson appeared on the show Good Day New York, and then later performed at Webster Theater in New York City.
July 27: Hanson appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
July 30: Hanson appeared on Canada AM on CTV, and also did radio appearances on Hot 89.9 in Ottawa and The River 107.7 in Alberta.
