A Very Sweet Hanson Fan Story

This one is a little off topic, I know. I found it in Random Ramblings actually, I'm never usually in there (RR takes time!) but this story stood out. I don't know the username of the girl who told it (I could track her down, it wouldn't be hard) and I didn't save any of the replies, but just enjoy it for what it is -- a beautiful little story.

I had the opportunity to talk to Taylor after the show in Portland, Maine (which, in my humble opinion, was absolutely amazing. My ears are still ringing). After the show, I joined the group of people waiting for autographs by the bus, and about 20 minutes later, Taylor came out. I'm getting married this weekend, so I waited for a pause in the yelling, and I said, "Taylor, I'm getting married this Saturday, and I was wondering if you have any advice for me." As soon as I said that I was getting married, he broke out into a huge grin, thought for a moment and then said, sort of softly, "Um, love conquers all. Just keep loving him." I hate to gush, but it was adorable. I said thanks, but for the next couple of minutes he continued to think in between signing and said, "You have to go into it, thinking, this is for life. You have to pick the right person, and you have to do it for the right reasons." I told him that my fiance and I have been together for almost 6 years (I'm 23, though I'm sure he thought I was younger), and he said, "A lot of people think that dating is just like marriage, but it's not. It's completely different. But love is a beautiful thing." He sounded so sincere and kept smiling as he talked. That Natalie is one lucky girl...the way he was talking, you could just tell that he is completely crazy about her. Taylor talked to me about marriage off and on until he was ready to get back on the bus. Right before he left, my brother, Matt, who's 21, asked Taylor to sign his arm and then introduced himself. I told Taylor that it was Matt's first show and Matt said that is was an amazing concert. Before he turned to leave, I stuck out my hand (I don't know where all of this courage came from!) and said, "I'm Morgan, by the way." Taylor smiled again and said, "It's really nice to meet you. Congratulations, and good luck with your wedding." I said thank you, and he started to walk away, then he turned and said, "Best of luck with your marriage." It was so nice of Taylor to take the time to talk to me...And I am definitely taking his advice :)
