F.A.Q.
+ What do you use to color the slippers?
I use red and black fabric markers to color.
+ Will the design fade or stain my foot?
The slippers are double-sealed with waterproofer to protect the design and prevent the color staining your foot.
+ When will I receive my slippers after ordering?
Because I paint each pair by hand, and because I have to order the blank slippers from a provider, it may take up to four weeks for you to receive your slippers after you order. It probably won't take this long, but if it does, I thank you so much for your patience and understanding! I'll try to get every pair made and shipped as soon as possible.
+ Can I order more than one pair?
You can order as many pairs as you like!
+ How can I care for my slippers?
If the slipper gets dirty, you can wipe them with a damp paper towel. As with any shoe (especially slippers), regular wear over time will probably result in a footprint, but the design will last!
+ What portion of the profits goes to the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital?
Each pair is $20 US. It costs about $5 to make and ship each pair of slippers. Everything else goes directly to the HIVSA.
+ When will you stop selling them?
There's no stop date. I'll probably just stop making them when orders stop coming in.
+ Do I have to have a PayPal account to order?
Nope! Just a credit card.
