POETRY

By: nnejiepoo@hanson.net
For Taylor, Isaac, and Zac Hanson from Jennifer~

*Thank You isn't enough*

Why you?
You said it yourselves.
Your looking for your radio,
So you might find a heart to follow.
So am I.
That heart is you.
As a fan,
I ask questions,
And I pry.
But I want to be sure of one thing.
That your ok.
Because when the world turns its back,
When people who should love me stop caring,
And when I stop caring,
I put my head phones over my ears,
And listen.
You say for me,
What I can't.
You let me know,
That one way or another,
I'll be alright.
You do for me,
What no one else could.
You give me comfort,
And you give me hope.
And I'm sorry if I ask too much.
But I need to be sure your alright.
It's you that keeps me going.
And I can't loose you too.

"Something More"
By Taffie@hanson.net and Joycie@hanson.net

As I look over my shoulder
I see that you kiss her "goodbye"
Even though you know it makes my spirit cry
every single night
My imaginations dissipate
into everlasting dreams of you
and when I wake up the day is late
like an everlasting sigh
and when I sleep I know
my hopes and dreams are through

look up at me
what is it that you see?
just a firned or a future?
never look back at the things that used to be
please don't find a path that leads u away from me,
don't make me crawl alone in this sea full of lies
be truthful otherwise at night you'll hear my cries

We could be something more
We could be drifting together
We could be breathless
We could be helpless
If you would agree
to wrap us in forever
I would melt away in a flood of years
spent with you
