As Hanson fans we appreciate good lyrics almost as much as well-composed melodies. When the two are combined then it equals a good album. The Kissaway Trail is a Danish upcoming indie band and a few weeks ago they released their debut album. And what a debut! The album contains some really profound lyrics and melodies that can be compared to angels singing. I know this sounds too good to be true, but this album is like giving your ears a vacation and your brain a challenge. The instruments used are violins, violas, drums, guitars, piano, xylophone and more. These guys are instrumentally and vocally strong and to top that off they write lyrics that suggest an IQ higher than average. The Kissaway Trail are poets and true musicians. If you are looking for a great melodic album this is the one you are looking for. The only bad thing I can say about this album is that it is a tad too short.
