Hello,
Welcome to Shot By Cupid's Bow! this website is
dedicated souly to the awesome Kiwi actor Karl
Urban! You may have seen this studly, talented
actor in his major roles such as Hercules: The
Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess as
Cupid: The God of Love and Julius Caesar: Emperor
of Rome, or maybe The Price of Milk, co-starring
Danielle Cormack, which got him nominated for an
Award, or maybe you even saw him in that recent
thriller movie, Ghost Ship. Or if you haven't
seen him in any of those movies, you most
definately have seen him in his most recent and
biggest of all films, The Lord of the Rings: The
Two Towers! I for one fell in love with this hunk
on Xena: Warrior Princess in the Episode
"The Altered States" when it aired all
over America for the first time in 1996. And even
though he played a very mean, hateful, and
selfish character there was something that
attracted me to this unknown actor. And from
there he went to Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
in the Episode "The Green-Eyed
Monster", where he played Cupid for the
first time (which also aired in 1996). This
character was much more different...he was much
more fun and likeable. These are just a few of
his roles in the hit tv shows, Hercules: The
Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.
These only marked the beginning of his guest
roles on these shows...his last show he did on
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys aired in 1999
and his last Xena: Warrior Princess episode aired
in 2001, and sad to say shortly after that both
shows had ended and I was in tears and feared I'd
never see him again. But I have continued to
follow his career where ever it may lead him. In
those 6 years I have grown to love him and honor
him, and I hope through this website you may grow
to love him too! Be sure to check out the tons of
pictures, and the articles, biography, quotes,
and links...
I
hope you enjoy your stay! And please sign the
guestbook...Thanks!
