"Isaac, if I asked you to
marry me, what would you say?"
Isaac put down the magazine he
was reading and looked over at Destiny, lovingly. "Yay,
Feminism!"
Destiny smiled and joined him
on the couch. "Seriously."
He tenderly wrapped his strong
arms around her delicate shoulders. "It would be an honor to marry
you."
Destiny stared up at him with
shining eyes. "So, what you're saying in your signature charming
way," He smiled and pulled her closer. "Is that if I asked you to
marry me, you would?"
He placed a soft kiss to her
forehead. "I would be an idiot to not marry you."
Destiny smiled up at him.
"What did I do to deserve you?"
"Ohhh..."
He pulled her over so she was in his lap. Their arms were wrapped loosely
around each other. "You know, I ask myself that same question everyday.
Every morning when I wake up beside you, holding you... it just makes me really
thankful to have you in my life."
Destiny wrapped her arms
around his neck, tightly. "I love you."
Isaac, in turn, wrapped his
arms around her tightly and stroked her back. "I love you too, baby." .
..Two Weeks Later...
Isaac woke up to the loud rain
slamming against their bedroom window. After his eyes adjusted to the darkness,
he looked to his left. There, he saw the most amazing sight his human eyes has ever allowed him to see. The most beautiful girl in
the world had her long, slender, naked arm thrown carelessly over his chest.
Her head was tucked neatly into his neck and her soft breathing tickled him
ever so slightly.
He gently picked up her soft
hand and brought it to his lips. He looked down at her to make sure she was
still sleeping. He smiled, remembering the last time she had caught him doing
this. He couldn't help it. Every time he was near her, he just needed to touch
her, hold her, kiss her, anything to show how much he
loved her.
Bringing her hand to his lips,
he tenderly kissed it. He brought her hand back down and turned slightly so he
could face her. Pushing the hair out of her eyes, he slowly bent down and
kissed her forehead, between her eyes, the tip of her nose and finally full on
her lips.
She stirred in her sleep and
her eyes fluttered open. She yawned and threw her arm around him, lightly
rubbing his strong, naked back. "You were doing it again." She
whispered.
He smiled and propped himself
up on his elbow. He scooped his other hand behind her back and pulled her over.
"I'm sorry."
She slowly crawled on top of
him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Don't be sorry. I like
it." She gently ran her lips over his chest and neck.
"Oh, you do?" He ran
his hands up and down her back.
"Mmm-hmm..."
She continued kissing him and lightly licking his soft skin. "I think it's
sweet."
With a bright smile, he leaned
up and licked her shoulder. "Well, I think you're sweet."
She stretched out on top of
him and re-wrapped her arms around his neck. "You know, last night was
wonderful. Thank you."
"It was pretty special,
wasn't it?"
"Yeah, beautiful."
"Perfect," they
chimed together.
They looked at each other and
smiled. Then, they shared a passionate kiss.
Destiny tucked her head under
his neck again. "It's still hard for me to believe."
"What is?" He rubbed
his hands over her back, neck and head.
"That out of all the
millions of girls in the world that you could have, you chose me. That just...
amazes me."
"True, there are over a
million girls in this world but you're the only one for me. Always and
forever."
Destiny's whole body tingled.
The way it always did when he says such beautiful and sweet things to her. Only
one man on this planet could make her feel this way. This special. This unique.
This beautiful. And that was the man that she was hopelessly in love with.
Isaac.
"You know what?"
"What?" He stared
deeply into her eyes.
"Every time I look into
your eyes, kiss you, touch you, hear you say such
beautiful things, I...I" she starts to choke up with emotion. "I fall
in love with you all over again." Her emotions overtook her and Isaac
cradled her in his arms, running his hands through her long, soft hair.
He thought back to the
previous night. Everything was so perfect. The whole family was there and a few
close friends. Isaac had a huge *surprise* planned out. Around
He then brought her to stand
with him. Pulling a small, black velvet box from his pocket, he went down on
bended knee. He confessed his undying love and devotion and asked for her to be
his "angel, better half, soul mate, life and love" for the rest of
their lives and beyond. Destiny, her heart swelled with more emotions than
could be described, nodded her head with enthusiasm and flew into his
ever-ready open arms.
Isaac smiled, remembering. He
couldn't believe he was holding his soon to be wife in his arms. Life was too
perfect for him.
Destiny
soon fell back asleep. Her last thoughts were filled with Isaac's strong and
comforting embrace and the stroking on her back. Everything was perfect.
